This is a tricky and very "craptacular" bug in DotHalo. DotHalo does NOT like you if you completely remove a value for a string. So instead of deleting everything before inputing a new value, just mark the previous value and start typing your new one, overwriting the old one, and never leaving the string empty. If this problem occurs however, don't try to keep going, that'll just further fu** up the map. Instead, when it happens, go back out into the "Tags" window and hit save changes. You will most likely get an error saying that you screwed something up, don't care, press continue and press save changes again. If you get the error again, you can't get out of it, so just press quit and re-open DotHalo and the map. Otherwise (and this is about a 50/50 gamble of success) you'll just get the usual "Changes saved to tag" or whatever, the tag will reload, and you can continue your work.

Hope this helped
