yeah the only downside to that new patch is that now that xbl (Buy Cheap XBL Codes) is filtering out the scum they WILL go somewhere and that would probably be xbc/xlink which is i guess an inevitable cycle. As my main activity on xbc is playing mappacks with a close knit group while helping ppl understand what a Mappack is and why they are vital to anti-cheating i dont get interferance with cheaters much. i say these mappacks and stand-alone promods are vital to anti cheating because my theory is (besides the uneducated cerebrally underdeveloped) ppl cheat because they are bored stiff ...sick of the same ol same. the pro mod approach to things lets you go experience a new twist on an old game made to the creators liking while still promoting the quality of gaming we all once knew and keeps the "bored" cheaters at bay.

hey guys i am new to this website but i agree with some stuff i belive modding is ok for custom game just for every one to have fun i know u all have talked on this but i think i need to say it again srry but here goes modders that go int to match making are a bunch of losers that just think they hav somthing to prove but hey u aint proving anything to by being in a sniper match with a fully auto sniper with 360 auto aim that is a person that has know life and thinks he is so kool rackin up 40 kill in half a sec. its just so annoying but i know how ppl get mad with ppl in custom game with cheating mods i hav to admit i hav that but i dont sit there and spawn kill i just flay around in a hog and kill ppl breaking my rules dont think i am a control freak but when i ask ppl not to spawn sheilds and nothing makes me happier than seeing every one on one punk that thinks he is better than every one then i boot them but that what i hav to say. P.S. i think we should not be punished for their stupidity.

see, when i spawn kill ppl, its almost like i cant anymore. it IS not fun to cheat. like, i downloaded this one turf mod, and it was a fun mod, but it was also a nasty spawn kill mod too, so i kinda....well......spawn killed a little bit, and i like, had to stop cuz i was hurting myself AND other ppl. even know i didnt know the ppl, i did feel bad..... =[

I disagree with Tural's statement, I find modding in Custom Matches fun, like Donkey Kong and Race Tracks, etc. Overall, I like the video, and most other is true.

yea, i disagree too, wats the fun in "non-live modding"? then u cant show anybody else, and they cant have fun either. i love racetrack mods btw lol

I know what your saying but im guessing you have never done any advanced modding.
I used to do a lot of fun mods, but it gets sooo old and now Im trying to make SLC AI with some wicked scripts, which owns any fun mod.

that is why you get xbconnect. then you CAN show other people and its people with more experience, and people that know about modding. you can go online with a spawn mod with a couple projectile swaps and everyone in the party will most likely be amazed and say your the best modder you have ever seen. on xbconnect you are probably gonna get feedback that MATTERS.

Finally a explanation of why i mod and mostly why everyone mods. I would love to send this to all the modder haters out there and show them this. I was modding when you could mod in MM but my level stayed legit. I use fun mods to have fun and give people something fun to do also!

i did xbl (Buy Cheap XBL Codes) modz when i started it was point less i quit xbl (Buy Cheap XBL Codes) no ranking in halo 2 no fun so i mod on xbc/kia and atfer u by the system its your to do what u wish to it MS has no saying what so ever

ok so i was thinking the other day, when you mod MM now you dont get Banned from it. Instead you get kicked off after 19 secs in game, so this is what you do:

You need 2 modders, including you, and your friend (the 2nd modder) has to havethe modded MM Maps. You Have to have just clean maps, so You dont get Kicked.

Anyway, the 19 sec's hes there he captures the flag 1 or 2 times, gets you at leats a 20 kill lead, etc. then He gets Kicked.

So if your not able to win still after that then your in big poop. anyway after he does this 3 or 4 times, then you switch out, YOU mod it then HE has the clean maps.


SO MODDERS, GET BACK INTO MODDING MM AGAIN IF YOUR NOT ALREADY BANNED LOL.:laughing:

Wow, trance obviously can't read? You can't ever argue a point here, hes right modding in MM is pointless, a rank in halo 2 doesn't get you a GF (look at walshy) maybe some sick nerds a hard one but still, knowing advanced stuff like what he said, could lead you down the road to a good career in game making or computer technology which now a days is good money, all these modders in MM are justing giving us a bad name, and pissing alot of people off, and if i met half of you i'd kick their asses because not being stereotypical but your probalby all weak nerds...Nd custom modz are fun because then u get to show everyone else but it does get old when u cant show them you biped swaps or AI or skins

yah, im trying to learn the scripting and stuff, i have a great idea for a mod, im just trying to figure oout how to make it also, if everyone has the same modded map, and they play together on live or system link or w/e those free live things are, does every one see the same thing?
