How To Make Weapon Effects Sasquatch 45 Takes No Credit At All For This Tutorial And Gives All Credit To DeadAim88 From Metal Core Mods.
WEAPON EFFECTS
Materials: Dothalo, The map your editing, and a brain (which some of you lack) * LOL *
Steps:
1.Open Dothalo and the map your editing.
2. in the "tags" window go to the "weap" tag and click on the weapon you wish to modify.
3.Now go to the dependencies of window for that weapon and scroll down until you see a lable that looks something like this, "effe-effects/objects/weapons/rifle/battle_rifle/fire bullet" (the fire effe is usualy the one that comes closest to the top of the list).
4.Now click the "goto tag" button in the dependencies window.
5.Now if you've done everything rite so far you should see something that looks like the following:

prt3-effects\objects\weapons\rifle\battle_rifle\muzzle_ flash
prt3-effects\objects\weapons\rifle\battle_rifle\muzzle_ flash_center
prt3-effects\objects\weapons\rifle\battle_rifle\muzzle_ flash
prt3-effects\objects\weapons\rifle\battle_rifle\smoke
prt3-effects\objects\weapons\rifle\battle_rifle\br_casi ngs
prt3-effects\objects\weapons\rifle\battle_rifle\muzzle_ flash
prt3-effects\objects\weapons\rifle\battle_rifle\muzzle_ flash_center
pmov-effects\particle_physics\warm_smoke_cloud
pmov-effects\particle_physics\stones
if wats in your sependencies doesnt look some what similar to what i typed above then you did something wrong in steps 1-4.
6.Click the "snd!-..." to change the sound and once its highlighted go to the "Dependencies/loneID:" drop box and pick the sound you wish to come out when the gun is fired and click save changes once the sound has been chosen.
7.Now click the "prt3-..." and change it to whatever you wish the fire that comes out of the muzzle to look like. (recomended when you first get started you try them all out to see if you like or dislike certain particle effects.
8. Repeat step 7 for all the "prt3-..." ( try and keep all the prt3's the same if you change them).
9.I personally forgot what editing the pmov's does to the weap but im sure you guyz can give it a shot and learn how to use that one to your advantage.
10.At this point you should have the weapon effects just about as beefed up as they can get.
11.Save changes and enjoy your new weapon effect.
(note: for the example of what the dependencie should look like i used the battle_rifle)
