Ok, I've tried this three times and read all of the tutes - still getting error 6. My original softmod still works fine. The WD 250 gig I want to use seems to take the the rebuild and everything happens as in the tute but I keep getting Error 6!!! I was going to try "Cloning" to see if I can get the WD 250 to just boot. then I can repartition later to recover my space. Will this work??? Is there any danger to screwing up my original drive??? any help would be appriciated. |
