this is the way i do it however when i apply the sppf patch and use encryptomatic it still fails to load the map on my box. ive only used one sppf patch but maybe thats the problem? is there any reason that the box would fail to load the map if you use encryptomatic and sppf the right way?

man wen i apply a sppf to one of my unmodded maps and resign and then ftp and wen i try to play it get to 0 on the count down then it just freeze im using 360 xsata

i'm a noob, sorry if i sound completely uneducated. i never used ppf or sppf patches before. i just modded a map and ftp'd. it always says FAILED TO LOAD MAP. should i be using patches.

A patch is just something that "Hold the mods", when you apply it to a map you apply the mods to the map.
Bumping this is somewhat ok, it's a tutorial.

so, instead of modding the whole map and taking the original off the xbox, and putting the modded one on your xbox, you can just apply the patch?

Yep. Instead of sending/uploading the whole map (Which is Illegal, So I've heard.) you can just upload/send a patch which is smaller and will take less time.

I know that they can detect mods, but do you think the Bungie guys can detect patches on xbl (Buy Cheap XBL Codes)? that'd be cool if they couldn't.
