How to FTP into Your Halo 2 Maps

Requirements:
Knowing how to FTP - You can find the tutorial HERE.

Step 1: Once you are in your Xbox via FTP, you will go into your E folder/partition.



Step 2: Go into TDATA.

Step 3: Go into 4d530064. Look below.



Step 4: Go to the map pack you wish to transfer the maps to your computer from.

Folder ending in 0001 contains: Warlock and Containment. This is the Bonus pack.
Folder ending in 0002 contains: Turf and Sanctuary (deltatap). This is the Killtacular pack
Folder ending in 0003 contains: Elongation, Gemini, Relic (dune), and Terminal (triplicate). This is the Maptacular pack.

Step 5: Choose the map you want to mod. Make sure, that on the left side, you are in folder you want to put your maps in. Once you are, right click the map and click transfer.

Be sure the make COPIES of the map as backups since many people do screw up.

How to Transfer the Maps back to your Xbox:
Follow these steps exactly except for when you get to the point where you transfer the Map from the right side to the left, do the opposite. So when you are in the proper folder, choose the map you just modded and right click and click Transfer.

when ever i mod my map, ftp it back to my xbox and try to load it, i get a failed to load map message.
what should i do.

Are you resigning the maps before you ftp them back to your box? If you answered no, then you should have answered yes.

Yeah,either restart your computer or see if your firewall is blocking them or something, they are fine for me so check your settings agian

how am i supposed to right click the map its on my xbox, and it wont let me transfer the maps(ive tried pressing all of the buttons) i can copy but not tranfer also which folder should i put it in? P.S. writing another tut with better descriptions and so i can see the pictures would be nice

How do you resign the maps?

get a map resigner like encryptomatic signature or coolspots andt hen use it with the map.

Does it generally take you guys 3 hours to upload a map to your computer? Does it always take this long per map?

Takes about a min or so.

Mose I used to have that problem. Sometimes my transfer rate would take 5 seconds to get a map and sometimes it would take 20mins.

I'm not sure if it is a firewall issue or connection problems.

You forgot to say that the Maptacular pack includes Backwash.

PLZ answer the other reply too but how do you transfer it do u need action replay cause i have that do u need a cord ? Or an ethernet or plz just tell me wat i need besides modding tools halo2 and a PC and an Xbox What do i need?
