| A real Hammer of Dawn w/ pics (Halo 2) Yes I know its been done alot, but I never thought it was ever done right. I don't beleive this will be too advanced with all the pics and all so lets get started. First you want to pick your map to put your Hammer of Dawn on. I'll be using Turf. Open up your map in DotHalo 1) Go to [weap] tag for the Sentinel Beam, it should now be on objects\characters\sentinel_agressor\weapon\beam\s entinel_agressor_beam as show below: ![]() 2) Go into Tag Editor and put the Number of projectiles to 5. 3) Go to Projectile at the bottom and select 0 in the dropdown menu. 4)Edit the X coordinate to 3, the Y coordinate to 0, and the Z coordinate to 10 5)The real Hammer of Dawn never runs out of ammo so we will put the Age per round to 0. 6)Also, the Hammer of Dawn only shoots out a beam for a while then stops so put the Heat per round to 0.35 (I found this the most accurate). 7) To add the cool effect of the beams coming together as they did when you started shooting the Hammer of Dawn, put Bullets per shot to 5 and the Minimum Spread (Accuracy) to 0.1 and the Maximum Spread (Accuracy) to 0.001 It all should look like this: ![]() 8) Now Save Changes 9) Now go into the Dependencies/LoneIDs window and change the Proj Tag to objects\weapons\rife\sniper_rifle\projectiles\snip er_bullet then Save Changes. It should look just like this: ![]() 10) Select the sniper bullet (proj tag) again and press goto tag. 11) Go to it's Dependencies\LoneIDs and change the Cont Tag to effects\objects\weapons\rifle\brute_plasma_rifle\ red_plasma_streak (This will make the beam red). Keep the Jpt! Tag the same but change the Foot Tag to whatever you want. I would suggest Gauss_Bullet, Brute_Plasma_Rifle_Bolt, or Sentinel_Beam. (The foot tag is the marking the beam leaves on the ground) and Save Changes! It should look something like this: ![]() We're done with DotHalo for now so open the map up in Entity. Now to tweak the beam a bit. 12) Go to the [Cont] Tag and then to effects\objects\weapons\rifle\brute_plasma_rifle\r ed_plasma_streak like before. Now on the right there is a tool button. Drop down and go to the Meta Editor. Make sure this is what you are on: ![]() 13) Go down to the Point States Reflexive and change all the red values (upper and lower) to 12. Afterwards, put the Trail Width to 0.8 but feel free to experiment with it yourself. | Yeah he can change the title. Go to edit then go advanced. That way he can put ripped in his title.

| This idea worked pretty good, I like this little mod here, just one question, do you know of a way to possible slow down the animation of the beam coming together, if you don't, don't worry about it, it's no big deal. | ||||||
