alright guys i was tired so i made this tutorial on how to put in lights into your xbox cuz im sure some of you so wanted to know how to do this :whatever::laughing:
btw all prices listed do NOT include shipping or insurance.
How to put lights into your xbox written by H2PLAYER116:
Things you will need to do this $h!t:
A light up fan (a fan that lights up a color)(80mm)(costs 7$max on ebay)
5 ft of your choice of color el wire (costs 3.80$ on ebay)
8' 4 PIN computer power y splitter cable (costs 1.85 on ebay)
Ok so heres the tutorial:
Step 1:open your xbox console and take out the power to your hdd.
Step 2:then you have to plug it inside the 1 side of the y splitter (the side with one)
Step 3.:plug in on the double side 1 into your hdd and 1 into your light el wire
And place the el wire all over your xbox for pretty effects. Its probably recommended to buy a see through case to see it all.
Step 4:now since the 80mm wont fit in completely your gonna have to do the following
1-remove the silver shielding
2-you know on the back of your harddrive case there a bit in back your gonna have to remove that lump (but dont remove the long pipe!)
Step 5: put in your new fan and plug it in.
Step 6:close your xbox case and now that everything is all put together turn on your xbox case to see all your lights light up
