How to use Xlink Kai (by XxMoNkEy42xX)
This program is good for many things, some include that you can use certain mods that you can't use on live, or you can play with friends who don't have live, or that live far away. This program works for many consoles, and games. For this tutorial we will be using The Xbox console, and the game Halo 2.

-First go to this site and sign up: XLink Kai: Evolution VII. Global Network Gaming.

-Then go to Downloads, and download Xlink Kai: Evolution 7


-Once it's downloaded install, and run it:
Click the image to open in full size.
^Sign in with the user name, and pass you used to sign up at the site. You have to confirm the activation e-mail sent to you before you do this.

After this check your connection to see if your router is compatible. Make sure it says (Locked: No)

-If it says no, and you are now signed on you can join a friends party, or host your own.

How to Join a Party

-Click the green arrow next to your friends name.
-Once you join, go to your xbox and click on system link in the main menu.
-Your friends name should be on the list, click on it and join party as if you were on xbox live.

How to Host a Game

-Click the globe in the right hand corner

-It will list all the game consoles. For this tutorial we are using the xbox.

-Then we are going to click First Person Shooter.

-Then pick the game. (We are using Halo 2 for this tutorial)

-Once in the game lobby you will have different arena choices. Choose one.
Click the image to open in full size.

-Then once you are in an arena you can start a private arena, by clicking the bottom globe in the top right hand corner.

-Name the arena, choose how many players are allowed in it, and if you want even set a password.


*If there is anything I'm forgetting in this tutorial let me know*
(For the how to join I couldn't add pictures because no one was on.)
(I'll add pics to it later, if anyone has trouble.)

Yeah, I figured most people modded on live, because 1.They didn't know about Xlink, or Xbox Connect, and 2.They did, but did not know how to use it.

how come my router says locked yes?

how do i fix that?

Whats better xlink kai or xbox connect?

I haven't tried xlink yet, but xbox connect seems really ****ty to me.

Xlink kai definitely looks a lot cleaner/better.

I think xlink is better designed but there are usually more people online in xbc. Just get both.

i need a router to use this right and thats all then i only have to download it and install it and do that then i can play on ym 360 cause for xbc you gotta buy a part

it works with 360?

atomic bump, all u had to do wat go to start kai config and under config options go to the first scroll down box and choose autodetect and dont lock...

and is it possible to do xlink/xbconnect on the 360?

when i join a game on my comp i go to my xbox and it says availble games and it just says create new wheres the one i joined on my comp i sghned in and out still same thing

sigh i wish that many people used kai still when i go one usually theres only 20 people in north america not 200 i want that back now i need to w8 20 min 4 like 3 ppl to join my gmaE OR I CAN JUST MOD AND GO IN MEXICO GAMES XD
