What I was trying to figure out is, why won't my mods work. I did a test on the lockout map w/ trying the dual weld sniper rifle and it didn't work. I ftp the map to the xbox then load the game, right? I'm putting the map file back in the same dir that I got the original from or am I suppost to save them to a different location on the xbox?

if you ftped to the d drive and got the maps you cant put them back there and play you have to have halo2 on your hdd to play old maps and for new maps ftp to tdata 64/c$/0001 000200003 you get it and find the map edit it sign it ftp it back and run halo 2.

he thinks that you do that in multiplayer(to him just playin on same system) but you can mod on live the same way you would in normal multiplayer on ur own xbox. Just, you will be banned after, roughly, 6 hours. Also, i noticed that about the tuts, ppl only like to read a line above a pic(look at the pic for ALL their answers) and maybe read the line after.

Where in your tut do you have to make a PPF. Or can you just edit the map without the PPF.

I really liked your tut. It helped me alot...

Umm, follow the tutorial word for word. Then go to my how to ftp tutorial, then when you ftp to your xbox, go to my how to ftp to your h2 maps. Then you will put your new modded maps in those folders. you will get banned if you go on live w/ them. Also, follow the WHOLE tutorial. Make sure you make the 3 folders and download modding tools 1.3!

Very nice tut man. I ran smoothly through it well until the very end. I did exactly what your tut said and read every word of it. I rebooted the xbox and tried to get on XBL but it came to the trouble shooter menu. When I try to run the trouble shooter, it takes me to a part of my evox dash and doesnt run the troubleshooter. Also, when I went into split screen and tried to load the map...it did not load. I tested to see if any other maps would load, and the rest loaded fine. Only turf, the map i modded, didnt load. Please respond with some possible problems ive had. Thanks a lot!

Hey Undead, if you are still on, could you explain to me how to change from static to automatic. I checked system config. on the evox dash. I realized that I had it on static. Before, I thought it needed to be on static not auto. I went to change it but I could not figure out how. Please tell me how. Thanks!

Again, I went to system config. But I could not find an option that allowed me to change to automatic. I remember how to on the microsoft dash, but not the Evox. Is there anywhere where I have locked my settings or something similar?

Hmm do you have .net framework 1.1 and the update sp2 or whatever it is called if not get that from microsoft.com and get .net framework 2.0 so you can run the newer programs that you can download from this site and many others.
