| Blastacular Map Installation on an Xbox 360 First off you need:Requirements: - a firmware-flashed Xbox 360. The ISO included in this tutorial is a single-layer ISO image to be used on Xbox 360 systems with a Samsung DVD drive and the Xtreme v5.2 firmware that supports single layer backups - some way to edit files on your Xbox 360 hard drive. Use an XPort , XSATA , Xecuter Connectivity Kit, or Open the Hard Drive - you will need a blank DVD in order to burn the modified installer disc, and of course you need a DVD burner to burn them with - This tutorial assumes that you already have update 1.1 installed, and the Bonus+Killtacular+Maptacular maps installed Note: This tutorial was tested using an NTSC-US system only, with English language. I do not know if it will work for PAL or other languages, it has not been tested. Code: http://76.162.27.40/files/Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack_mulleted.rar Tutorial: Xplorer360 Part I - Backup Your Update and Bonus Maps Connect your hard drive to your PC, and open Xplorer360 1. Navigate to Partition 3 > Compatibility > Xbox1 > TDATA > 4D530064 2. Rename the $U folder to $Ubak 1. Navigate to the $C folder 2. Rename 4D53006400000001 to 4D53006400000001bak So it should look like this... Burn Modified Installation Disc The .rar archive contains an ISO image. Burn the ISO using ImgBurn or your favorite ISO recording software. After it has been burned, load up the disc in your Xbox 360, choose "Multiplayer Expansion". Install the Update, choose English language. Then install the Bonus maps. When you have installed the update and bonus maps, power off the Xbox 360 and connect the Xbox 360 hard drive to the PC again. Xplorer360 Part II - Renaming Files After Install Remember, this method works because it is installing the two new maps as the Bonus maps. You need to rename them after the install to what they are normally. So we need to use Xplorer360 to do that. Hook your hard drive back up to your PC, and load Xplorer360. 1. Navigate to Partition 3 > Compatibility > Xbox1 > TDATA > $C 2. Rename 4D53006400000001 to 4D53006400000004 1. What the rename looks like... 2. Also rename 4D53006400000001bak to 4D53006400000001 And that should look like... 1. Now enter the 4D53006400000004 folder, and you should see a 73mb warlock.map and a 67mb containment.map 2. Rename warlock.map to highplains.map and rename containment.map to derelict.map Like this.. And that's it. You should be good to go. Test it out, and if it doesn't work, oh well - I tried. It worked for me. These maps should work on Live as well but they have not been tested. Good luck to any attempting this.
