Skinning With Microsoft Paint

This is how you skin with microsoft paint. Someone already made this but the thread was deleted. download this program fisrt DOWNLOAD> dxtbmpx.EXE - FileFront.com now when your done downloading that install it. When your done open up DotHalo and open up a map. Find the tag [bitm]Bitmap. When you click on it many stuff will pop up. Keep on scrolling down untill you find some that begens with "Scenareois" When you click on one that you want to skin a picture will pop up. If it does not have a picture then try to find another one that you like. When you find one that you like a picture will pop. Click on "Extract Bitmap" When you do that save it to the desktop. When your done doing that open dxtbmpxEXE(The program that you downloaded earlyer) when that is opened go to File>Open. Go to the desktop and find the thing that you just saved to the desktop. When you find it open it and you will see a picture of what you wanted. Next look at the top left and find "Images" When you find that click on "Send To Editor" When you do that Microsoft Paint will open. Maximize it then skin it when your done go to file>save, DO NOT DO SAVE AS! When your done close Microsoft Paint and go back to dxtbmpxEXE. When you do that go to Images>Reload After Edit. when you do that the picture that you chose is now skinned! Now go to File>save, NOT SAVE AS! When your done with all that go back to DotHalo and click on "Inject Bitmap" When you click on that try to find the picture you just skinned. When thats done go to "Fix Enscryption" Then resign the map and go to evolution x and go to the X folder and delete the cach file. If there is nothing in X then don't do anything. Go to the Z folder and delete the cach file. Then go to Y and delete the cach file. Then all you have to do is put the map on and Hurray! You just skinned a map with Microsoft Paint. umm ive clicked on every single scenarios thing and never does a pic come up in dothalo i dont understand what your talkin about be very specific for us noobs

your supposed to go to the [bitm] tag in dothalo and oyu have to open up a map

Garvi:At the top of the screen in DotHalo, click 'Editor Controls,' then 'Enable Raw Data Editor.' This should fix your problem.

when i was tryna get the pics up in dothalo they didnt show for me so i used another program and it worked

Yeah don't use DotHalo, especially to skin, it kills the map. And I wouldn't suggest this method of skinning, it results in the worst looking textures.

well, what program WOULD you recommend? because i cant get it to work with this one

i use photoshop now its the best to skin with i would get it if u realy want to skin they have lots of tools to help u
