Getting Highplains (Tombstone) and Derelict (Desolation)



Step 1

• Download the two new map:
  • Highplains: http://files.xboxsoftmods.org/maps/h...highplains.zip
  • Derelict: http://files.xboxsoftmods.org/maps/h...s/derelict.zip
• If you are prompted to to login, use this:
  • Username: spam
  • Password: spam
• Unzip the two zip files when they are done downloading

Step 2

• Add the two new maps to your mainmenu:
  • Download the mainmenu Serenity patch (Created by Snave): link
  • Use Serenity to apply the patch to your mainmenu
  • More help about using this patch here
• Resign your mainmenu:
  • Download Entity
  • Open your map with Entity, click Resign
  • Done, exit

Step 3

• Now transfer the two new maps unzipped, and your new patched mainmenu to your Xbox, in your Halo 2 maps folder.
  • Example: F:\games\Halo 2\maps\PLACE FILES HERE
• There, all done. Should work. If it doesn't, try clearing your catch folders: X, Y, Z

Ok so there's my nub-friendly tutorial. Now this isn't the xbl (Buy Cheap XBL Codes) "Proper" way of adding the maps. The proper way uses DLC patch.lvl crap. To do it that way, go here.

whenever I try the highplains one it says that there's error 404(not found). can you please put up a working link?

are these maps able to be played on live or can your just have them on your hdd???
