| How To Control XBMC From Your Computer! How To Control XBMC From Your Computer written by ThePope43 ![]() Have you ever wanted to use your xbox as an actual media center? Well with one of the best applications for the xbox, now you can! With your favorite internet browser you can now control your XBMC from your favorite computer! Here's how: First off you're going to want to start up your xbox and go to your XBMC. Here, I'm using the latest MC360 dash, which is very easy to use. ![]() Now that you're here go into your 'System Settings' tab. Once your're there click on 'Network Connections'. Once You've done that go to the 'Servers' tab. Once you are here go and make sure you have the 'Enable Web Server' box checkmarked: ![]() Now all you have to do is go to your favorite web browser and type in the IP address to your xbox and you'll get a menu like so: ![]() Now you are set! Just pick out your media that you're wanting to play and watch the xbox work at the tv! | ||||||

Whenever I put in my IP I get and attempt to FTP: Code: [R] Connecting to 192.168.1.5 -> IP=192.168.1.5 PORT=21 [R] Connected to 192.168.1.5 [R] 220- [R] 220---------------------------------------------------------------------------- [R] 220-XBMC:FileZilla version 1.5.6, (based on FileZilla Server 0.8.8) [R] 220- [R] 220-http://sourceforge.net/projects/xbmc/ [R] 220---------------------------------------------------------------------------- [R] 220 | ||||||
