My insider at Target told me yesterday that the PS3 is going to be dropping the blu-ray drives, making the final price range to that of the 360.

BS. Why would they do that? What happens to all of the Blu-Ray games out now?

Umm..NO. Why would they get rid of the Blu-Ray drives from them. THen they coulden't play half of the games produced, as they are all distributed on Blu-Ray media.

P.S PS3 is 100x better than XBOX360 anyhow.

Give me 10 legit reasons why the PS3 is better. And don't include 1080p, because the 360 can use 1080p through the VGA adapter.

They will drop it because it will lower the price. Which is what I was told. And it kinda makes sense from how bad the PS3 is doing.

They are not dropping Blu-Ray. You all say PS3 sucks because you cannot afford one. Then most of you complain about the price. How ironic when most people bout there 360's on eBay for thousands of dollars.

5. How can 7 player splitscreen be fun? Your screen would be so small unless you were on a 70 incher.

I wouldn't have bought an xbox without Halo 2 and I wouldn't buy a 360 without Halo 3. :unsure:

7. Do you know how expensive Gigabit routers are? Gigabit ethernet is usually found in servers. And noone has a 1000MBps Internet connection. NOONE!
9. They are dropping the Core, bumping the Premium down to $299, and slapping the larger HDD to the Zephyr and selling it for $399.

If the PS3 is SO GREAT then how come everytime I go to target, bestbuy etc. there are like 4 or 5 of them on the shelves? you couldn't find a 360 for like 2 months same with the wii now

Hmm...mabey becasue Sony knows how to anticipate their market and adjust production accordlingly. Microsucks on the otherhand, randomly chooses a number to produce.

Word. Me too.

I think that kid kinda forgot the fact that the main reason people buy consoles is for the games. That's how it has been ever since they first came out. And I used Halo because that is the biggest.
