How to Softmod with Krayzie's Ndure Installer 1.1.1

Ok I have a problem I would like help with.

I tryed to softmod my xbox with this tut and yourlinus installers but couldnt get it to work, 4 sum reason.
So I used a differnt tut,
Can u supply the APP that alows you to make gamertags in a seperate save that I can out on my xbox?

There is 2 ways to install 1.1.1. As you read in the readme file, you can update the udata.zip file but you have no idea how many people don't know how to unzip and zip files...so I decided to do it the FTP way (which should also be mentioned in the readme file). You could do it either way, just let me know how it goes.

this may be a stupid question but I am new to modding and i need help...plus i didnt know if this was previously stated on a previous post because i didnt feel like going through 18 pages of other stuff...
is it a absolute requirement to have one of the three games listed in order to do a mod for halo 2...all i want to do is use auto aim when i play my friends from home...
oh...another question...
once i mod my xbox (if and when i can)...is the auto aim and the modded maps a permanent thing or is there any like on and off switch to these processes....thanks to anyone who can help me

Ok, I had no problem in update the udata.zip. That was the easy part for me. The question I have is : it is normal that there is another config.xml not use in the step by step read me file( The first you see when you open the update kit SC )

and did I still need to FTP the EXTRA folder to my Xbox beacause in the read me file :He update this folder too but I only use the UDATA.zip (2x) Why updating the extra folder if it unuse????

By updating the extras folder, that just ensures that everything is properly up to date and compatible. I hope that answers your question.

Softmod done today!!! I follow this tutorial and it work very well. In my case I have update the installer to 1.1.1 before the installation without any need to ftp.
Just follow the read me file step that come with the update 1.1.1 package

Ok, I know used your installer to mod my xbox, so mayb you could explain detailedly how to get the app on my box, maybe msn?

I have bought all the necessary material to softmod my Xbox, but I wanna make sure I can still log on Xbox Live w/o getting permanbanned. I play alot of Halo 2 on Live and it would blow if I couldn't play anymore. I read somewhere that if you had already logged on Live before and then you mod, then you need a new EEPROM id(which I have no idea what this is). Also, what precautions should I take so I don't get banned, if I can get on Live w/o automatically getting banned? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ok i am having a problem with the update i am getting an error. Batch process failed. the last item was:updatefiles missing. Action: Rename.

Some Help Please....

Just did my first soft mod...Good tut Azzid...anyway all went well however I can't seem to play dvd movies, installed dvd-x2 and it works if I boot it directly from the apps menu. Can I get it to autoboot movies?? Currently the main menu screen will fade in and out if I try to autostart a movie. Any help would be appreciated...(BTW games boot just fine.)

I bought the game mech assault from my friend and it looks as though he got it with his xbox live or something like that. Its in a folder case instead of a regular xbox case. Can I use this game with the krayzie installer?

I did everything the tutorial said and the it says unable to open save
i am 99.9 % i didnt skew from the instructions at all

I used this and sid tutorial to the same conclusion it cant read the gamesave i followed it to a t does it only work on certain versions of xbox

Is it the Xbox that doesn't read the save? Or the action replay?
