rather than just restarting the ipod in the main menu the thing that you have that shows like music filebrowser and stuff like that settings and so on there is a thing that says Power click it then choose quit linux (or sumthing along those lines) and it will show sum codes wait till its done showing the codes then do the restart. Also ive sometimes had to do it twice because it didnt work right but when booting up again dont touch ANYTHING
that should do it.
