Bitmap Iternalizer Photoshop tryout Photoshop DDS plugin dothalo
Shared.map and mainmenu.map your xbox.
Before you beging make sure you have mainmenu.map and shared,map in the same folder.
First open dothalo and open a map. Ill be using warlock then go to the bitm tag and go to the plasma pistol. Just the plasma pistol not the pp lod or anything.
Now go to the raw date ediot window and you should see a bitmap preview.
Now press extract bitmap and save it to a folder just for your bitmaps. If you dont have one make a new one. A status window should pop up and say it was sucessful.
Now open photoshop.
Now open the bitmap. You should get a window asking how to open it using default sizes.
You should now have a bitmap preview in ps
First set the coler using the coler box. Then go to the custom shapes bar on the left hand side and select the rictangle draw a rectangle around the whole image.
Now let go and the bitmap should have a new coler over it. Then go the the left hand side in the layer box and swithc the opacity to 20 percent.
Now hit save and save it plasma pistol.dds
A save tool called navidia should come up.
In order to save it we have to know what the dxt is so go back to dothalo and go to the bitm tag and go to the plamsa pistol then finally the raw date edior. You should see a preview again. The number above the preview is what we save it as.
Now change the drop down bar to DXT5 and hit save.
Now open the bitmap internalizer.
Now go to plasma pistol and go to the one on the drop down bar. Make sure you click the non proper method.
If it asks you to load the shared map then load it. Now once its fineshed you should get this message.
Now close and reopen dothalo and go back to the bitm plasma pistol. Then go to the raw date edior and hit inject you should get this message.
Now the bitmap preview should change.
Congratz now resign the map and ftp it.
