ok i got the ip after doing some update thing in the system settings i transfered turf over to my comp edited signed with cmr2 and transfered back and the map[ loads perfect but then the screen goes black and nothing else happens. if i did everything correct why is this happening?

i read the post about making the map do something impossible and the only thing i could come up with is maybe i have it for me to jump to high on turf? my biped settings:

item pickup is at 0.5
throw distance is at 10
jump height is 6
vehicle exit is 0.175
biped weight is 100
flying on impact/explosion is at 1.3
aggressiveness 1.22173
standing height 0.62
crouching height 0.45
position change speed 0
and everything else for that tag is default

if something is wrong with these settings pls let me know on here or on aim my aim is futurama2112

Try reducing the jump height. Try to follow the tutorial like I've shown, and maybe try another map like sanctuary.

Also, what did you update in your dash?

i found out why it wasnt working and i fixed it and now i have a bunch of 1337 fun mods from this site and others

i just bought a x3 ce, do i have to soft mod before i mod halo 2. whats the mod chip used for? can i skip the soft modding if i have the chip, because i want to be albe to modd weapons, and maps and well whatever else you can mod.. im a total newbie at modding please be kind in your response

hey i did every thing u said in the tutorial and i transfered it back to my xbox hard drive then when i try to play the maps they are teh same just like they were before so i go back on the pc and and load up teh maps and they are like i modded them but wont run like they were modded on the box help plz?

sorry about the proper grammer. well i just reread the tutorial and did it over again and i transfered the map back to my xbox. well i just tryed it and still the mod did not work. when i went to the level that i modded the sniper rifle it was the same as without the mod. i dont get it can u plz help me . im doing everything that is said in the tutorial, and i did read the thing for some time since yesturday.

You need to overwrite the map on your Xbox. Transfer the modded map FROM your computer TO your Xbox. Make sure you saved changes, fixed encryption, and resigned the map. Retry it on sanctuary and tell me how it goes. Just be sure to OVERWRITE the map on the XBOX HARDDRIVE!

also..make sure your not just transfering the pff file...make sure you apply the ppf to the map file..if you didnt make your own mods

i did overwrite the map on my xbox and i did save and fixed the encryption but i also dont have sanctuary and how do i apply the ppf to the map fle?

hey where do i get the plugin so i can change like the rate of fire and stuff. when i go to chang the clip size it says something about a plug in. other han that every thing works great nice tut.

Can some 1 please tell me why u have to have 007, splintercell, or mech assult to softmod your box. please reply, i really want to mod and ive had lots of experience moddeling and modding other games but im not in the area to obtain a mod chip. thnks

Just look at how to softmod. Those games have exploits in them that you can use to access linux and install linux to your xbox = softmodding.

Those games have an exploit that allows you to open third party code from the hard drive.
IE the softmod installer.
