Got a queston about burning a game

Hey i am wondering do i have to FTP the game over to my pc? And then burn it as a ISO with Magic ISO or something? I cant just put the game in my DVD drive and burn it? Just wondering

You have to put it on the computer cause the xbox doesn't have a dvd burner

As I just mentioned in a similar thread, you can use craxition to automate the process for you, but you still must have the xbox game disc in your xbox.

ok i created a iso file and every thing had old maps put some mods on them and then resigned them and burned them to a disc and then when my get on xbl and i try to load the map my xbox makes a wierd noise like it cant read the disc for reason its like it cant read dvd r what should i do

an xbox cant read a burnt game unless:
A: The xbox is modded (softmod or hardmod)
B: The DVD drive has been reflashed with different firmware

and since you are trying to go onto live, i doubt you have option A, and since you didnt know about xbox's not being able to read burnt games, i doubt you have option B.

If you do have your box softmodded, then you should just be able to download the ISO of the game you want, extract it, and then using Nero, make the file a UDF and select the checkbox that says "Support for XBOX". Dump the files on it, and burn away. I find that this method makes the game run a lot longer and faster than by burning the ISO directly.

does a cd rw work instead of a dvd rw and my xbox wont read burnt games it if it modded ? thats what u said
