Quick question, If i am pulling host in call of duty wouldn't that mean i would be able to get host in halo as well?

No. They are two different game companys running on two different servers with their own systems in place. I don't even know if CoD has host bans. Host bans are not enforced by Microsoft or Xbox, but Bungie themselves which is why it only relates to Halo 3.

Actually the servers for even Halo 2 and Halo 3 are different because if you are host banned in Halo 2 that doesn't necessarily mean you are host banned in Halo 3.
