Alright, so I burned a couple of games the other day and I usually verify the games before and after burn on my on my mac then PC through ABGx360. Every game so far has come out clean but a handful ended up coming out with Game CRC failing around 50% or less. What does that mean exactly when you're verifying the burnt game? The actual ISOs all passed stealth and verification before I burned. I'm using Verbatim with 2.4x burn speed.

Also, to save myself time, does anyone know how to verify DVDs using ABGx360 on the Mac? It asks for device name but I can't figure out what the device name is. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I searched and googled my exact problem and I came up with nothing. I did end up playing GTA IV even though the game CRC failed but the stealth passed and the game played perfectly fine.

Edit: Oh! There's no "errors" after it fails. It says it retries 20 times and nothing happens after that. It just says stealth passed but game CRC did not pass or something along those lines.

Don't worry about it at all. If your Xbox 360 running iXtreme 1.6 will boot the game, then it is safe. ABGX is optional, and if the game fails the CRC test but passes all the others, just play it anyways.

Oh! So what is the function of the Game CRC then? GTA IV did crash (disc read error) after a bit when I played it again.

The CRC check is just to make sure the game data isn't corrupted. The only reason for checking the CRC is to make sure there isn't AnyDVD style corruption, which is rare.

Thanks, Carson. So, now I just realized I've been wasting my time waiting 30 minutes every time waiting for ABGx360 to verify the burned DVD. You have just saved me many precious minutes of my life.

i even have some burned dvd's which they don't start checking any thing but they work in the console <_<

You should upgrade to 1.6, if you can, then boot the games. Never boot a game that has failed stealth portions, though, from what I understand.

If you modded the game than it is going to fail the CRC because you edited the data. There is a chance of being banned. But if you want to mod thats a risk you will have to take.

If stealth patches and CRC dosent after i modded, i still play it.

A modded game will fail CRC.
A regular game shouldnt fail CRC.
I play modded games with a bad CRC and im not banned.

If not than it is a bad rip and that will get you banned.

Ok. I would have to say DONT play that game.
It sounds like the person who ripped it didnt do a very good job.

Ugh! The confusion. Ok, I had an ISO from a well-known uploader on a popular 360 ISO site and the GTA IV ISO checked out on everything. All greens, amigo. Now, when I burn the game every time, using this ISO, it comes out all green EXCEPT the CRC. Refer to Ace Combat 6 picture by Sam, and that's what it looks like when I verify the game after it has been burned. Before burning, this does not happen. It's all green.

From what Carson is saying, it shouldn't matter because I have 1.6, but my brother has 1.51 because he has a hitachi. Should he really bother verifying every burned game if the ISO itself was all green before the burning process?
