iXtreme 1.6 One Shot Boot Mode Tutorial

This tutorial will be using IMGBurn.

Activate.iso is designed to enable One-shot boot mode for the iXtreme 1.6 firmware. One-shot boot mode allows you to boot your unstealthed, modified backups, or wave 4 games without any strict stealth checks.

DO AT YOUR OWN RISK. THERE IS A BAN RISK USING ACTIVATE.ISO!

Must have 1.6 firmware or this will not work!

You can download the activate.iso from HERE.

You can download IMGBurn from HERE.

You can download CloneCD from HERE. (This tutorial dosent use this program but you may want to try using it)

1. Insert a blank DVD +R DL into your DVD burner.

2. Open activate.iso with your prefered burning software. (Im using IMGBurn)

3. Make sure your Layerbreak is set to calculate optimal. And your write speed is 2.4x.

4. Now start the burn!

5. As soon as you start burning a message will pop up saying the image is small enough for a DVD-R, do you want to continue anyway.

You want to choose yes, becuase a DVD-R wont work!


6. You might get a message like this:

Just say Yes, to continue.

7. Now you will get a message that says even though the image is small enough to fit into one layer its best to write in both layers, do wou want to go away from the normal and write in only one layer.



Choosing Yes will cause all data to be written into the first layer.

Choosing No will cause data to be written into both layers.

Choose YES!


8. It will burn and take a long time to finalize then finish.



How to use it

1. Turn on your xbox 360

2. Eject tray

3. Insert Activate disc (boot disc)







Let it load till it says "Play DVD" once it reads that you can now eject it, and no you dont have to press "A"








Insert any wave 4 game, it will only work for the next game inserted any time you wish to play a wave 4 game you must repeat the steps










Extra Info:
1. You have to put this disc in everytime before you boot a wave 4/unpatched game.


I do not recommend playing an unstealthed game. I made this tutorial primarily for wave 4 games, but i was just stating that it is possible to boot an unstealthed game.

you should put an upload to clone cd. imo it's easiest. none of those errors or whatever while burning. Think there's a crack somewhere in prem for any prem's that wanna try it

If the game is properly stealth patched than you wont get banned.
But since ABGX cant check wave 4, the only way to know the game is safe is if it gets verified.

This is because if the verification passes, that means the stealth patched aswell.

hey guys, when I bought my xbox, I requested a flash to 1.6 ixt in my liteon

the problem is that, I just burned 4 activate iso, in many ways and it doesnt work with 2 wave4 games that I tested

what happens, in 1 game, it reads in 1 sec the disk, and appears the video message to put a xbox 360 game on, showing that it "worked"

when I put the game, it says playing the dvd then it shows a xbox 360 logo and nothing happens

this happens in both games, but one says it cant be read too

so, it means what? that I dont have 1.6 or what

tried now to burn in clonedvd and nothing too ... same thing happens

do I need to upgrade the dash or something before trying to play the game?

This is not working for me. I burned the activate.iso and P2P's MW2. When I put the activate.iso in it displays the Put this game in a xbox 360 console screen. Then I eject the tray and put in MW2 and it loads and displays the disc unreadable message. I have a Lite-On DG-16D2S w/ iXtreme 1.6. Any solutions?

how long does it take to finalize the disk? jeez its been like 30 min just finalizing, and its not frozen or anything

I have been hearing it takes a long time.
So just be patient.
