There are way,way too many threads regarding how to make a booster account. I am simply trying to make a short and simple guide to help people who have questions.

GOAL: To make an account that is used to increase the numerical skill of a secondary account(s), searching in the same Matchmaking party, faster than normal while playing ranked playlists.

NOTE: Increasing the "boosting" factor of a booster account is directly dependent on losing games. If you quit a game and your team ends up winning (check bungie.net for game results), it has the same effect as you winning without quitting. Also, the boosting effect is playlist specific. This means that if you lose a bunch of games of TEAM Slayer, it will make it a booster for TEAM Slayer and no other playlist.

Quitting out of games: Quitting is used to lose games faster than playing normally and not quitting.

How to quit out of games and not get banned:
You will not get banned as long as you remain positive EXP in the playlists you are quitting out of. For example, you have an account that is positive 50 EXP in TEAM Slayer and want to quit out of games to make it into a booster in TEAM Slayer. You can quit out of at least 50 games in TEAM Slayer and not get banned.

Update: The section regarding quitting out of games until 0 EXP is achieved may no longer be valid. At least one person has claimed they got banned doing this.

Scenario 1: You have an account that has games played and you want to make into a boosting account. You can quit out of games until you reach 0 xp in any playlist, and then use it to boost an account. When you are finished boosting an account, you will have positive xp in that playlist from winning. Then you can proceed to quit out of games again.

Scenario 2: You are making a new account and are planning on making it a booster. If you want to avoid becoming banned instantly by quitting, you simply go into mm, preferably with another person intentionally losing, and just lose. Once you lose about 50-100 games (you can do more, its really up to you) and are ready to boost an account, do so. After you are finished boosting the account you will be positive xp in the playlist and can begin quitting games.

I have not experimented in quitting into the negatives EXP wise. However, I know plenty of people who do quit into the negatives and do not get banned. I am just providing you with proven methods.

Very good guide. Glad someone came out with a better guide than the other "GET a 50 in 2 HOURS" thread.

Stuck.:D

Yeah I was interested in this method when I first came across H 3 L L S M A N and his griffball boosting. He simply just kept the quitting account positive xp. I went on to boost nearly 3,000 EXP the next griffball weekend.

Yeah that thread pretty much motivated me to make this thread. I got fed up with people still posting in it.

My life is now complete.

I'm going to unstick the other post and close it. And move your post to that section. That way it stays updated.

Well, its actually nearly three and half days. When I did it I averaged a game every 50 seconds. That is an average of 72 games an hour. 72 games an hour equals 144 EXP an hour. Its not that ridiculous if you think about it, well not if the people are dedicated that is.

So you cant do this anymore. Like they can detect it.

If your referring to the topic of this thread, yes you can still do this. For griffball, I'm not sure as I stopped boosting it a while back.

Ive come across people saying they get banned just for quitting out to many games. Not necessarily going into the negatives or something. Just quitting out to many in a row.
My question is: Is it likely that overall they haven't gone negative but they have in the individual playlist = BAN

You need to imply in your OP that it's about LOSING. Quitting doesn't make/help a booster. EXP doesn't matter. As long as the record of the account you're making into a booster is bad in a certain playlist, it's good. I had a booster back when I had my old Xbox and it was originally a Staff Captain. It was like 700/1200 approx with a 28 in doubles. I deranked it to a 13 in doubles and it had 700/1800 (or more). I played social to keep the EXP up. I only quit occasionally in doubles if I made my teammate quit or I betrayed the teammate. I lent the account to a friend of mine and he got someone to a 50 in doubles in less than 30 games. They lost 3 games I believe. It was about 4 months ago.

I did state that.

"Increasing the 'boosting' factor of a booster account is directly dependent on losing games."

I couldn't find this anywhere, google or otherwise.

My bud has a booster account with ~1k losses at level 20. I've been stuck at 45 for ages and I'm just wondering if I can be banned for playing with him. If so I'll just suck it up and try harder.
