Okay for the past three days, I've been trying to modify my drive. Now let me explain all I did/bought and stuff. I read many tutorials.

http://www.se7ensins...e-dg-16d2s.html

Xbox-experts.com Xbox 360 Repair/Modding - Tutorial Flash Your Lite-On for Free

Xbox-experts.com Xbox 360 Repair/Modding - Tutorial Assembling a liteon probe pictorial

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esjjdMpjpKQ]YouTube - Making Your Own Lite-on Probe[/ame]

I followed those tutorials and did everything. I do not have a CK3 nor the Addon Probe with it. I built my own probe and have the serial RAID SATA Port. I do not think its my soldering cause I wasted money and keep rebuilding it. I am trying to use JungleFlasher and I get this error

Its not my probe or anything.... I done Windows Update, downloaded all the drivers, have the Port I/o 32 thingy. I did everything I can possible think of. This is just a pain in my neck. Any tips or help? Cause I need it badly.

Make sure the serial part is plugged into the computer before you turn it on.
If you did that then, keep moving the probe around in the R707 hole and find the angle that will work for you.

Okay, I will report back if nothing happens. And also, I have the power from my 360 to the drive and the SATA (to the PC). When I turn off my PC and turn it back on. Do I leave the 360 on or does it not matter?

If you reboot the computer just reboot the console too. It really shouldn't matter but its such a small task its not like its asking too much.

Also make sure the disc tray is halfway open.

Okay. Still same error. Anything else you might can think of?

Your sata port is correct.
Your com port is correct.
Its showing device properties.
Tray is halfway open.

Only thing left is the extraction method. High chance is that your probe is not working.

You are clicking the create dummy.bin bla bla bla button and not the ixtreme button right?

Looks correct.

Are you clicking dummy from ixtreme or create dumm.bin open as source.?

Both, I did "Get Key, Create Dummy bin, Open as Source" and I get that error blah bad Serial. And when I did "Dummy from iXtreme" I get also an error saying "iXtreme DVDkey extraction failed! Power drive with tray half open." And the drive is powered on and tray half opened. Everytime I start up JungleFlasher I reboot my Xbox and manually eject the tray.

Quick question - are you running your probe straight to a rs232 port on your pc or through a 232/usb cable?

Stop doing the ixtreme button. That will get you no where. That is only for when the drive is already modded.

Eject the tray manually before you turn the drive on.

I have a Male D - Suve connecter that I connect to a RS232 (Female to female). And I also have a Female D Sub connecter that I can straight connect to the back of my PC. But I do not use the USB cable.

Yeah, thats what I do all the time. Whenever you start up JungleFlasher, turn on Xbox with the tray half opened (but when the xbox is turning on, it trys to close it/open it so I hold the tray still. And when its on dashboard it says "Open DVD or w.e" so I am guessing the status on that is its closed and I am good to go).
