I was in the shower listening to my iPod on my portable speakers. Where I had the iPod was about 3 feet from my shower. I opened the shower curtain to get conditioner from my cabinet, and I somehow sprayed my shower head all over my bathroom and it got on my iPod. I didn't even realize it until ten minutes later when I was blow drying my hair and I realized I had no music playing, and me being an idiot ran to my computer and plugged it in the charger to see if it'd turn on. I know, that was stupid...I probably broke it for good. But it wasn't soaking wet or anything, just the front face had water on it. It's lying facedown in my windowsill right now, is there anything I can do?:S

Chances are the water probably seeped through the control wheel. Take it to Apple and see if they can do anything about it. How long has it been? If it was recent, give it some time to dry and try again.

+1 for what Hax said.

Leave it in there for a day or two. Chances are it will end up working...
