There has been a lot of talk about sexual content in video video games lately. There's the nudity in The Witcher, BioWare's take on sex scenes, and Obsidian's defense of the Alpha Protocol sex scenes. The latest sexytime news comes out of a synopsis posted by the ESRB as they reviewed the sexual content found in yet another BioWare title, Dragon Age: Origins (PC, Xbox 360). Article may not be suited for minors.

Apart from the usual heads-up for the game's violence and profanity, the ESRB summary contains detailed info on the sexual content, which is about as open-minded as anyone could get. There will be a brothel feature in the game, where a hostess asks you about your preference. "If players select "Surprise me," they can sometimes wind up face-to-face with a woman, a man, a transsexual, or an animal," said the ESRB summary.

Thankfully (or unfortunately, for some folks), the actual sexual activity will not be shown, nor has it been revealed as to what purpose the sexcapades serve in the game. Kratos-like, perhaps? Apart from the brothel, players can also initiate cutscenes wherein couples (both hetero and homosexual) will be depicted "kissing, embracing, and caressing one another as the screen fades to black."

Dragon Age: Origins, however, remains free of nudity - human nudity at least. One female demon character reportedly let her headlights hang out, which didn't seem to bother the rating board all that much.

And by the way, the ESRB rating info also has Dragon Age: Origins listed with a PS3 version, apart from the 360 and PC versions that we already know about.

I wasn't attempting to flame, but you come into this thread that you think is dumb and post something completely unnecessary then i make a joke on your post and you get all defensive as if you were the one fapping away at this ****. Why not be the grown up and stop stop this argument? Is it that you aren't even in the 9th grade yet? I really don't know, but the whole arguing thing isn't needed.

On-topic: I'm not a parent or anything, but when I have kids, I won't censor what they see. The world is what it is and that's that. Yeah, I'll talk to my kids about the things they need to know in life, but this is just a game. As for myself, I don't get my jollies by looking at this and I could care less if other kids do. People have their own fetishes. The ESRB thinks that adults don't know what is and isn't right for their kids to see and so they control it. I really could care less on if they do block stuff because some parents in the world don't care about their kids. If there was a game that taught someone how to kill in a world where the ESRB didn't exist, some parents would get that game for their children and not think twice. I'm mostly rambling now, but I had to get my point out. The ESRB is here for the greater good and I kinda like it.

How is a typo a fail? Sorry people make mistakes. Because that program horizon you worship so much has bugs/errors it fails to? I'm sorry but you just don't make any sense at all if your trying to flame me for a simple typo.
