hey... my friend recently gave me a 360 profile editor, and everytime i try to open it up, it says stuff like "Xbox 360 Profile Editor has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.":thumbdown: and to send or not to send an error report.

i have already downloaded and installed the microsoft frameworks 3.5 and rebooted pc... if any one could help me, that would be greatly appreciated.

either that, or your computer has a virus. The same thing happened to me, i cleared up my PC then re-installed .NET framework 3.5 service Pack 1, then it worked :) thank me if this helped :thumbup:

Yeah mine isnt working either. When i open up xplorer 360 i dump my profile after getting to the ffe07d1, then 0001000 then drag it on my desktop. After that i open up xbox 360 profile editor then i open my profile and it says i have 0/0 gamerscore when i have 11,000, my games wont load, and the options are profile options, settings then profile information. it worked yesturday now it wont work. any suggestions?

Profile Editor Dont Not Work Because THe NXE Update or Profiles with extra information were all just waiting for a new one to come out.

Couldnt you just remove the update from the xbox? and what do you mean by profiles with extra information?

Well with the new update, Microsoft updated a load of settings and code... So i assume he is talking about there being a new version of the editor that is compatible with the new stuff...

i used the old profile editor after the new update and it still works:D

But new games you play wont appear on the editor i read some where

Any new games added to your profile will not be editable with the editor.

Yes, I put some gamesin and it dun work for the new ones, they come up with a bunch of Japanese letters, also, the old one works

I also have a problem, I can't get my profile to update GS, I unlock the achievements and it will say: 1000/1000 but my GS will remain 0... :mad:
(I'm on NXE 7371 and profile editor v.2.0.2604 if that makes any difference)
