Hi to who ever is about to read this. I plan on flashing my xbox 360 in the next couple of days, but before I do, I want to be able to rip/patch/burn my own games. I have tried many tutorials all about hot swapping, and for some reason it just wont work with my dvd drive. I am wondering now, for I have heard much about it, if it is worth it to buy a Kreon dvd drive, where to buy it, or if someone can tell me which dvd drives will work with hot swapping.

2ndly... does anyone have an update tutorial on how to flash BenQ drive with the lastest iExtreme 1.6 firmware or can I follow Venomous Fires tutorial except switch the firmware? Thanks in advance!

so your saying kreon drive is the way to go? I found 1 on ebay for 35 with shipping, its one of the compatible samsung drives SH-D162D, but i dont think it has the kreon firmware. I was going to buy it and then flash it myself. Should I do that? There is also a website http://www.samsungdr...1&products_id=1 , which is 60 with firmware on it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

also, the kreon drive is internal. Is there an external dvd case I can put it in. An IDE to USB adapter etc? Also, this drive automatically stealths the game so I won't have to use any other programs?

my bad, another thing i forgot to mention. Textbook's tutorial seems quite long and more confusing then venomous fires? Which should I use, and is there a tut for flashing kreon to samsung drive?
