i have my friend's ipod and want to transfer some of his music from his ipod to my itunes
Is that possible>? is so how?

download winamp, works better with the ipod lol and allows back & forth transfers

I DL'd it and the ipod came up but how do i take some of those songs and place them on my itunes or winamp it keeps saying "Cannot Open File" when i try and play the songs

i think you right click the songs and go to copy to disc
or sumthin cnt remember exactly ATM, not on my usual pc ands its 5am lol

iDump; I highly recommend this. It is free and you can transfer 1 song to all songs and place them in any directory you want.

You have to convert the file to an AAC file I believe.

when you use I dump does it keep your file names intact? WORK in vista?

my ipod when put into sync with pc places all songs into/onto itunes..... :/

I would just move it from your iPod to the computer, you just need to enable hidden files. That's what I do.
