From ixtreme 1.5 to 1.6, how? Rate Topic: -----

Hello, i did flash my xbox by my self with help from Venomous Fire's guide
(http://www.se7ensins...xbox-360-a.html) and now i wonder, how do i update my firmware from 1.5 to 1.6, do just follow the guide again? or what.. :.(

i use VIA6421 Chipset.
i have BenQ

I used Jungleflasher when going from 1.5 (1.51 in my case actually but the process is the same). So I used this tutorial http://www.se7ensins...gleflasher.html . Seemed to work well for me.

Do the same thing you did previously to flash your drive

Go into dosflash, read your firmware to a USB drive. Boot back into windows, pull your drive key from the firmware and dump it into the modded firmware using Toolbox, JF, etc. Then boot back into dosflash, write the firmware and you're done

I did that now and it works fine! UFC here i come!
but i got a little bit scared, my profile was gone and i did almost fall in to tears, but after 2-3 minutes i saw that the harddrive was unplugged <_<

LOL!

I know I've forgotten to plug my DVD drive back in after flashing and was like 'WTF OMG IT'S BROKE!!' But yeah I was just dumb and forgot LOL :rolleyes:
