Background: As you may or may not know, 360 users can buy certain harddrives from Western Digital and flash them (Sort of similar to flashing 360 dvd drives).

How it works: You send me your wd1200bevs (or buy one online and ship it to me directly). I flash it using HddHackr 0.91 (Latest version). I flash your hdd and hex edit partitions 0,2,3. Simply formatting it in the 360 makes the hdd able to save games but if you want to transfer your profiles and gamesaves and play original xbox games then you'll need partitions 0,2,3.

Cost:
  • Flashing HDD Only - $8
  • Flashing HDD + Partitions 0,2,3 - $10
  • Flashing HDD + Partitions 0,2,3 + Transfer content from another hdd - $15

All of the above prices do not include return shipping but for something that small it varies between $3 (first class mail) to $6 (priority)

FAQ's:

What is this really..I dont really understand?..Im kinda confused

To put it simply.. you buy a certain 120gb computer hdd. ($50). You send it to me and I flash it so it is 100% compatible with the 360.

Does this mean I can have a harddrive bigger than 120gb?

No. You can have whatever is possible by Microsoft currently. You can have 20,60,120gb. If your hardrive is between or higher than these values then it will round down to the nearest storage

This lets you get a larger hard drive for your 360 without paying outrageous prices for it

Might want to tell people you can only do this with the normal HDD sizes (20, 60, 120gb) Anything else wont work.

Incorrect. It doesnt matter. If you get a 250gb harddrive it will still work but when you flash it with the 120gb hddss it will default down to holding 120gb of data. If you have a 80gb hdd you can flash it with the 60gb hddss but not the 120

No, if you buy a 120 gbb laptop hdd from newegg.com or tigerdirect.com you can send it to him and he will make it work for your xbox360.
