Okay I've followed 10+ tutorials and tried so many random methods. I've unplugged wires, plugged them back in quickly, left the drive half open, put activate.iso on a DVD+R DL and more...

But I keep running into the same issues. When I click the "MTK Flash 32" tab in Jungle Flasher I can find my I/O Port. Next I go to click "Intro / Device ID" but I CANT. I also tried to click "Benq UNLOCK" first, but I cant still. All of the buttons on the right are unclickable. They're all grayed out. I'm lost for ideas.. I've tried it all.

I just installed a fresh copy of Vista 32bit on my hard drive. Is there some program I need that isn't listed in tutorials? I'm lost and don't know why it's doing it.

I have the SATA wire connected straight into my motherboard. (My mobo is a EVGA 780i FTW Mobo)

Here's a screenshot. Any help would be great!

You need the 6421 sata controller card. Also that isnt a Benq drive..... I dont know what that is. Anyways first get the 6421 sata card.

I thought nForce chipsets worked... At any rate I think you got the wrong port because I googled the the vendor thing and it brought up a Seagate hard drive with the exact same model number. I could be way off but it seems to work too perfectly to be coincidence...

That is your harddrive.
For 100% assurance Id recommend getting a sata pci card. Otherwise keep on trying the different ports

Wow I'm stupid... My gosh... Can you believe I really spent hours trying to do this to my hard drive lol. Well I quickly found my Xbox 360 drive and I grabbed the Flash Chip properties no problem. Though when I click read I get "The Drive Key was not found, f/w maybe corrupt!" Any ideas?

It shows "77777777777777777777777777777777" in DVD Key.

Okay scratch all of that. That was my Samsung drive. I finally found the Benq drive and I'm positive this time. It matches the pictures. Though now when I click "Intro / Device ID" I get the pop up error. I tried powering on and off like it said. I tried using my activate.iso dvd+r dl. Each time the lights blinking too. I've tried it both with the blink and without it. I always get "Device Intro failed!"

Btw I haven't clicked "Benq UnLock". When I do it says "Benq-Un-Lock command returned an Error".

Any ideas? Thanks guys!

Oh and each time I press "Intro / Device ID" Jungle Flasher freezes (Not Responding) for a few seconds until it says ""Device Intro failed".

Dangit it detected it in "0xB800", but now it doesn't. I know it didn't detect it earlier, but something I did made it show up. After closing Jungle Flasher and reopening it it's gone again...

Okay lol I did it! Wahoo... Now to test it out :)
