Hey guys... my friend was in the process of hacking his ipod e.g. adding illegal games to it, which worked fine but then he tried to change the style/skin of the main menu... now it does not work at all and when he plugs it into his computer to try and reset with itunes it opens the ipod but before the ipod has time to reset, it turns off... anyone know any other ways to reset an ipod even if it wont turn on for very long?

Hold menu and the center button then when its booting back up hold menu and play

That will boot it in to disk mode. Plug it in then restore with itunes.
