Hello hello, I'm just taking a flyer here:

Does the flashing for the LiteOn Differ from that of the BenQ?

And if so, has a method been created for the LiteOn? How can you tell the two apart with out taking the console apart? i'm guessing you cant since they both made by philips...

You still can't flash a Lite-On. C4E says progress is being made.

The only way to tell without opening the console is to look in the hole all the way to the right, just under the dvd tray. There should be two wires inside the hole. Red = Samsung, White = BenQ, Yellow = Lite-on and No Hole = Hitachi
