Ok in resigning and stuff it asks for a profile and device id
i just want to kno what that is?

Its your profile (gamertag) and xbox's id, whats it sound like it would be

Your device ID is an ID given specifically to an Xbox
a Profile ID contains a piece of the device ID of the Xbox the profile was made on, with a few different characters added to "thumb print it"
when user content is created, the content will only work for the profile ID and device ID it was made from. If you want to use someone elses content, you have to overwrite their ID's with your ID's so the Xbox is like, "oh, this file belongs to you and not someone else"

just open up one of your maps and copy the id's and paste them on the other persons map in the resigner.

It what the Xbox 360 content is locked to, the profile. Its the files for your profile. You can do some cool things if you edit it. I think you can get free maps or somthing with it. But you have to some how edit the IDs

LIVE resigner is first, and that's not going to happen.
