Mobo: Abit AW9D
Software: iprep 101 v006.2 / BenQ iXtreme v1.41 8x
Had a lot of problems with attempting to flash my 360 but i've have made steady progress.. I've read a lot of guides and tries a hand full of different ways but alas i have resorted to asking for help.
iPrep

I'm slightly worried im unable to tick the "Patch MTKFlash" tickbox.. i've read you should some places and shouldnt at others.. but i have no option
I Boot via Pen Drive into iprep fine. The only method i have found to give me any sort of responce is by using dosflash on SATA port 2.
a:\cd tools
a:\tools\dosflash
(list SATA ports)
0x01F0 Sata Pri Master...
0x0170 Sata Sec...
a:\tools\dosflash r 01F0 1 a0 1 4 a:\orig.bin 0 **Sata plugged in to Port1
Follow instructions through..
0x00 status with no change on 360 power on or off.
BUT when i try port 2 i get some positive feedback! Following the same steps..
a:\tools\dosflash r 0170 1 a0 1 4 a:\orig.bin 0 **Sata plugged in to Port2
Follow instructions through..
0x7F... turn xbox on
0xD1... while booting...
0xD1 and 0x51 Flashing when fully booted... Turn xbox Off..
Turn on again 0xD1 then flash's really fast through 7F - 80 - D1 solid until its booted then flashs D1/51 again...
I've tried turning it off and on again at this stage like 50 times as i read somewhere it dosnt always work and takes up to 5 attempts but still no luck.
Other methods I've tried...
I've tried just booting into iprep and using the a:\dben 1234567 12345 method with my serial numbers obviously. This gives me a static 0x80 status, turning 360 on and off makes no change.
I've also tried going into device manager and using IDE ATA/ATAPI numbers (4 numbers on the end of the SATA name thats listed in iprep) and using those as the dosflash port... this gave me a static 0x45 (nice change from 0x00 and 0x80>.<)
I've read a lot of posts saying the port on my mobo cannot be found etc but im almost there im just stuck at the last hurdle. Has anyone got ANY idea where i cant get the 360 to start flashing on 0x73!?
also.. is there a place that lists the status commands(0x00 0x80 0x45 0x7F 0x73 etc)?
