In all due respect, please get creative!


im sorry to say, but we are tired of the maps with random, pointless items all over the map.

Can someone please start modding to make fun, slayer/objective based games? we want maps with new places to hide, new objects on the map, and new vehicals to use. make more game types like instant respawn, or something that we can use to have carbines as a staring weapon.

We want modded maps that we can play over and over thats fun and real. we are so tired of random grav lifts, pointless clones, and anoying broken and "host-only" objects.

I speak for so many people on Halo.

Do you want to be the most well know modder?
Basically, make "fun" "slayer" games that don't have dumb things on them (aka clones <

im sorry if this seems like a hate post, but its not. its not exciting anymore when you make a map that has no use at all. Im simply informing you of what we want.

Do u want to know what mine, and all of my friends (over 150 people<>) map is?? Its the vallhalla map with all the trees on it. Its simple and you can play slayer on it all day long! theres no clone or grav lift/ or "host-only" stuff on it. its just a MODDED, FUN, SLAYER MAP

Give us suggestions then. The things we can do with modding forge is rather limited if you haven't noticed. Pimpin Tyler and I are working on a new map which we think will be a fun and creative one.

I'm making a race map, and I have a ghost town mod with ammo only edited for gameplay. If you want it, just tell me.

I built a staircase out of needler ammo... The map is so laggy that I won't release it though...

Haha. That would be great. Maybe staircase of tripmines? Whoever gets to the top first and gets the flag wins.

Not many items add to a game play experience. You can only spawn whats in the map we don't have a choice weather there host only or not. As far as I'm concerned people want to see new things not necessarily slayer maps. The community should take what they get and appreciate what they have. If you want a slayer map, you have the tools to make one yourself. Make one of your own and ask Hax to resign.

I get like 4 PM's a day with people asking me to resign. Quite frankly, I just ignore them.

Theres no harm in doing so. Why not? I think I'm allowed to release maps along as the community continues to release maps. Ill get back to you but I might take suggestions..

I've been thinking the same thing for a while now. The mods we have now are pretty cool, like the Aegis Fates on Sandtrap, but we have no playable mods, for the most part. The Snowbound mod with two turrets and a tower is the closest one (besides Valhalla with all the trees on it) to being playable, and even then, you have to make vehicles invincible.

Here's some suggestion:


1.Elephant at each base on Avalanche, indestructible missile pods on turret mounts at each base or on Elephant

2. Gametype that allows for Carbine starts

3. Regular Hornets on Avalanche

4. Sandtrap, with a base made of Elephants that cam be a safepoint in an Infection game

5. Standoff with Shade turrets on top of each base, indestructible with gametype

well i like games that add to gameplay. The vahalla trees mod is brilliant. its so simple but completly changed the gameplay of the map.

do more things like make vallhalla snowy, make avalanch like a forest. make blackout look like lockout. add banshees and hornets to foundry.

I understand that its hard, but i know you guys are smart. you guys can think of something.

More or less im trying to say that we like maps that will add to the gameplay of the map, we dont like to look at clones anymore.

im biug in forge. if tyou want to give me a map with a list of items that you can use and how you can use them. in this case i could draw/trype of a few ideas of how you could mod a map using those items.

Almost everything you just stated is not possible in Forge Variant Modding.>.<

Elephants are not in avalanche.
Missile pods cannot be made indestructible.
Regular hornets on avalanche = impossible without modding the actual map.
Shade turrets cannot be made indestructible.

No elephants on Avalache, no indestructible missile pods either.

2. Gametype that allows for Carbine starts

Only the weak ones can be spawned

No shade turrets on Standoff

There aren't. Only on Sandtrap.

None of this is even possible with user map modding. Try knowing what your talking about before you complain to the community for not having cool maps.

Um, I made Shade turrets indestructible in custom games with a gametype that set vehicles to indestructible.
