Searched around on google and found some possible ideas but I want y'alls input. I am searching for some way to repeatedly press the A button on my 360 controller. I would plan on leaving it on overnight.

Option 1: Create a physical button pusher that would repeatedly press down on the button.

Option 2: Do something inside of the controller, such as adding a chip, which would simulate a button press. (The button wouldn't be physically pressed)

What do you guys think? Any ideas or tips on how to follow through with this project?

Thanks.

You can follow a tut i fixed on a rapid fire mod but instead of using a pushbutton like i did that is momentary use one that stays on (mine you push it and let go it stops like regular controller buttons) like a pushbutton switch .
Rapid fire xbox 360 controller tutorial - HaloBit
And than use this guide on this site to duplicate the a button

I hope that helps you in some way, I know you can do it with these two tuts put togethor.

And make sure YOU READ ALL THE DIRECTIONS so you don't mess up a controller.

Lol there is a super easy way.

Step 1: Tape your controller down somewhere.
Step 2: Get a small fan.
Step 3: Turn it on and get it on the right level so it just barely hits the "A" button". (Tip: Stick paper under it to get it just right)
Step 4: ???
Step 5: PROFIT!

Most small fans run on batteries. Therefore youd need a lot of batteries, and they might run out in the middle of the night.

Ones with cords to plug into wall sockets are easily obtainable. Walmart ftw.

No I was talking about something more like this: Walmart.com : 12INCH TABLE FAN : Patio Furniture

The metal guard surrounding the fan is easily removable.

Of course I'm sure you could find a smaller, cheaper one elsewhere.
