How to use:

1: extract the files out of the .zip using a program such as winzip or winrar

2: Run the file called RUN ME.bat


3: Click next


4: the manager will now scan your drives for ipod control unless your ipod is assigned to drive A you will get an error or 2 .... or 5
click continue


5: let it do its magic


6: your finished




FAQs

Thease are really only for people who want to get the most out of their installer and customise it

Before i begin any files that are in the copytoroot folder will be copied to your ipods root


Question: I already have a .rockbox that i want to put on is their any way i can alter this to install that one instead?
Answer: Yes open bin/Copytoroot/ then replace that .rockbox with your own

Quesiton: Does the se7ensins them replace my current?
Answer: Nope it uses the method of having multiple themes so you can pick between your apple OS and the se7ensins theme (remember in order to have multiple themes working you must be running 1.2.1 frimware NOT 1.2.3

Question: i want to install my own iboy via this installer.
Answer: Go to bin/copytoroot/ paist your iboy in

Quesiton: i have rockboy gamesaves will running this overwright them?
Answer: although i would suggest backing them up just in case it will not
it will merdge the files/folders
how ever if their is a file in the .rockbox/rockboy folder that has the same file name it will

im finished all accept i dont have a 5.5G ipod their for i cant make the "rawdump" for the se7ensins theme and i dont want to release it with out the theme

so i figure ill give it another week to see if someone will come forward to do it and if no one does then ill just release it with out the theme

im thinking of releasing the 5G one today as of now im compling all the files for release how ever im hitting 120 MB compressed so that would mean 2 RS links so i think im gunna go threw and get rid of a few crappy rockbox themes so i can still have a lot of rockbox themes and keep it one link :)

im not sure how many people here have a 5G i realize most people have 5.5G thats why im making it both

Now that im thinking about it i think im gunna offer different packages

basic (might release today)
will install just the tri boot

theme package
will install triboot
will install se7ensins theme
all rockbox themes
and ill look in to podzilla (ipodlinux) themes (i find this entire OS useless tho)

Premium
only for premium members

will install triboot

will install iboy (with all pokemon, zelda, and mario games avilable on gameboy and gameboy color)
Updated added basic pack downloads

thanks alot but i think i have it under control for now

their have been "setbacks" with the se7ensins theme "i rushed it and as a end result it blew >.<"

im compiling and testing so if all goes well they plus and premium will be released this week



BTW about the links being down

when i was making the config.cfg file (thats the one that configures your IPL loader) i was careless and direct rockbox to:

Rockbox@ (h0,1)rockbox.ipod

when it should have been

Rockbox@ (h0,1)/rockbox/rockbox.ipod

if you downloaded it the file that needs to be fixed
is located on the root of your ipod its called loader.cfg open it in notepad and fix it

and as for the program
go in to bin/copytoroot and open that config.cfg and do the nessiary editations


the links are fixed with the working version now sorry for the inconveniance

Update on the progress of plus/premium

As some of you may know their is a program out called zeroslackr
it uses the exact same method as i use in my program to install a "modded" version of ipod linux it comes default with many features so it would save me from having to track down and figure out how to install all the moduels my self making a speedier launch


how ever zeroslackr is still in alph stages and contains MANY flaws

zeroslackr comes with i launcher and IPL loader
however i cant even figure out how to get the i launcher to work correctly


some may know that its just ipod linux and me traking down all the moduels that is taking so long so here is what i am Possibly going to


IPL loader (my version not zeroslakrs wierd one idk y its wierd i cant really explain it lol)
Rockbox - the same but i was going to make it so all themes are installed last and it prompts you first so you can cancel if you dont want them
Ipod linux - the normal version (pretty much the same as the one in the basic)
Ilaunch - just need to get the roms for premium :) will be separate from zeroslackr's one
zeroslackr - separate from ipod linux and ilaunch

well i was about 99% sure i was going to release my program how ever *a moderator* deleted a very important post in regards it saying i was bumping old threads

i need user input on what it contains (thank god he only soft deleted it) so once its gets re inserted in to here i would like some feed back
