Damn damn damn. I have had my xbox360 for 2 years and a month now and for the first time ever this morning it got the 3 red rings. The same thing happened to my cousins one about a year back and he got his the same time as me and got it fixed for free aswell as a months free xbox live gold a wired controller and a free harddrive. It froze so I turned it off and back on again. Froze again. So I left it on for about 3-5mins and when I turn it back on the red rings (my worst nightmare) are there. I know that there is a temporary fix posted by Carson with the towel trick. I was wondering if microsoft will fix this for me, It isn't moded but it is well out of its warranty. If so how would I go about getting microsoft to do it for me?

they extended the warranty for 3 year, your still in it if you got 3 rings. Just call tell them u have the 3rings and send it in

how did your cousin get a free harddrive and controller when you got it fixed?

He got it fixed. I think that they thought that he sent them a whole console instead of just the very core of it. So he got everything else in double power cord hardrive free controller scart lead etc.

NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! The ghost of my old 360 has come back to haunt me! My new one has the evil rings aswell!
