Well I knew ShadowLAG helped but Ididnt see that someone else had posted these before me so I thought It would be a nice Confidence Boost in all those that are trying to Mod Halo3 here on S7. Apologies for a Second thread about the same thing. Delete if necesary.

shadowLAG used a hybrid 360, which allowed him to inject the maps via ftp, therefore allowing him to play the maps even if they weren't signed.

Your not thinking... Even with FTP you can't mod.You either need to remove the RSA and Hash Signature checks that use private and public MS keys from the XEX, (keeping in mind you know PPC assembly...), and recompile the XEX, signed to a developers kit(using dev keys).Or you RTH them, which edits the memory and allows you to edit almost every value ingame.Shad0w used our RTH method.This will not be shared. and cannot be done on a normal Xbox...They are not Hybrids.. Shad0w gave them that nickname.. But they really arent. Its not half retail half dev. All retail functions are overwritten with dev... Even hardware is changed..its a retail converted to dev which no one except MS can do... You want a dev? Good luck finding one...

Also haxalot... Its not FTP. He may call it that through a mistake as both use IP.. But its not...FTPing wouldnt work without removing those RSA checks in the XEX...

Monkey... You wont be able to convert... You'll get the parts and they'll do jack for you...

People really need to stop fantasizing and try to actually think things through and look into things more..

So don't take it the wrong way...But this if you think people will mod halo 3 on retail without a hacked hypervisor and kernal... and XEX for h3 which only two people have made now, (Korn)(Me and Anthony)... Then your wrong. Trust me.. its not going to go anywhere on retail till you see a hacked kernal that allows unsigned code.

When Did I say I thought People Were going to be able to Mod Halo 3 on a retail Version, Or Halo 3 at All? I was just saying that This would be a Great Confidence Boost, Knowing that it is Possible, for those that are attempting to figure it out. And I realize that it wont be able to be done untill a Hacked Kernal is Released it says that in the Video. Im not trying to be Rude Either i just thought I would let you know that I never said that we would be modding Halo 3 in the near future, I said Think of all the Cool things that Modding Halo 3 would bring to the table. Sorry about not Giving Credit to you BTW I thought I had done that and I just read throught my Original Post and Realized I never gave Credit.
