is it possible to put songs from your ipod onto the 360 so you can have them on your hard drive? I want to do this because my ipod has song i would like to listen to while playing oblivion or (in the future) halo 3. so if you could help me out that would be cool. And when i do hook up the ipod it doesn't show me all the songs on it just some of them.

According to xxbravoxx, you can transfer .map files from ipod to xbox hdd, so I could see MP3's being the same deal. I'm actually really curious about putting modded maps on the 360 his method (http://www.se7ensins...xbox-360-a.html)

You can listen to music on the ipod but as far as transferring it, no because of the itunes part. Like Krafty said, it has to be the right type of file. If you reconvert them like from the pc then ya but its basically the same as when you put the music on your ipod in the first place. (unless you actually pay for itunes...)

Ok guys your repeating wat people have said..
You cant copy music from the ipod to it..
all pro askd bout the xsata thing, he means open it and place your mp3 files into whereever the rest of the music is saved but he didnt explain..
and yes you can play songs with your ipod, i prefer a good stereo setup seperate from my xbox tho.

Or get a few CD-RW's, burn some mp3's and wma's onto it as an AUDIO cd *not data*, rip, then reburn the disc with other music, thats the easiest honestly, but Windows Media Connect is really good....*Media Center is as well*, but the only way to put songs onto ur 360's hard drive is ripping them via CD's.
