well my problem is that i cant use winterboard after i install it and reboot i says sync it to itunes and then itunes says must restore to use this ipod what do i do?

Just restart the springboard, and did you jailbreak with blackra1n? If you did you need a program Called sbsettings to restart the springboard.

you dont need sbsettings to use winterboard, just uninstall and reinstall it.

your filmware might be wrong too, you may need to update.

He didn't say you needed sbsettings to use winterboard he said you need it to respring. But anyway thats also a irrational statement because he is i recovery mode not at the springboard.


Anyway I am going to assume you have a 3rd generation ipod touch (8 gig model) when your screen goes to the itunes sign with the wire plug it in close itunes open black rain and click make it ra1n again.


EDIT: also try the above if you have a 3gs as it is a possibility you may have the second wave of iphone 3gs's meaning you have a tethered jailbreak.
