First time flashing a drive. I installed A VIA 6421 card, installed the PortIO32, disabled the drivers for the 6421(deleted etc). I have the xbox powered via xbox cable, the drive is connected to the PCI card with the sata. The drive makes noise when it turns on like normal, so its not the drive not getting power. I'm pretty sure I have the Sata cable plugged into the correct slot. I open up jungle flasher and it says no drive detected. Any ideas?

Oh and I have a DG-16D2S. FW 83850C

Also, unplugging the cable from the PCI card turns off the computer and blue screen of deaths it... so I dont think its my connection...

this is why people get connectivity kits...the only thing I could suggest is unplugging everything and making sure your sata cable is in the right way and make sure its on the back of the sata card and not the front slot

I'm using Xp. Also, when ever I try to find a tut for dos flashing, 9 times out of 10 they are for the lite that requires the probe.

Edit: NVM I played with the drivers and somehow got it.
