Will Backwards Compatibility Expand to the Original Xbox?

Phil Spencer, Microsoft's head of Xbox, revealed on Twitter that he and the team are very interested in making games from Microsoft's original Xbox console compatible on the Xbox One. Spencer responded to a fan asking about porting Xbox original games to the Xbox One, in which Spencer replied: "I don't think it's silly. I ask the BC team this question a lot. Need to finish 360 BC for now."

I'm sure some of you are very happy about the news, but don't get too excited yet. Spencer merely said that it is something the Xbox development team is looking into at the moment. We would obviously have to wait until Microsoft finishes finalizing and perfecting Xbox One backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 titles, which could end up taking quite awhile.

Microsoft's E3 announcement about the Xbox One's backwards compatibility feature was probably one of the greatest things that came out of E3. More than a hundred Xbox 360 and XBLA games will become available to Xbox One owners for absolutely free when the feature launches. Unfortunately, the exact date of the launch is currently unknown. Xbox 360 titles that have already become available to Xbox One owners include Gears of War: Judgement, Super Meat Boy, and many others. If this was to take effect, what games would you like to see?
