Titanfall is a mecha first-person shooter video game that is exclusive for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Titanfall is officially set to release on March 11 this coming year.
A representative of developer Respawn Entertainment, Scriptacus said; "Sniping is in the game, but due to how the game plays it's a pretty different animal than you'll find in your run of the mill modern military shooter." The developers have decided to make the sniping more realistic by making quickscopes and noscopes have no effect on other players.
Unlike any other FPS games like Call of Duty and Battlefield, Titanfall's creators listen to the community's voice. A large amount of Call of Duty players have complained about other players quickscoping and getting unfair kills on them and others, well, Respawn Entertainment is not taking any chances. Of course, many players looking forward to Titanfall are going to love the sniping, and there may even be some complaining that they dislike the new system, but all the developers are trying to do is make sure the game is fairly played. To ensure that Titanfall has the same advantages to other players, they decided to make the sniping system more legitimate, as if they want the sniping in this game to be like real life military sniping.
The producers have taken ahead of other FPS developers and added in a non-quickscoping and non-noscoping system. A quickscope is when a player aims down their sights just enough to get the quick shot and move on to the next player, while a noscope is when a player fires a sniper rifle from their hip, without aiming down sights.
