Just yesterday, the release window for the newest game in the Tomb Raider series, Rise of the Tomb Raider, was revealed for PC. The Steam webpage for the game was updated and it now reads that the game will be available in January 2016. Rise of the Tomb Raider was initially released on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 10, 2015, which was the same day that Fallout 4 was released.
If you're wondering why the PC edition of the game hasn't been released yet, then let me assure you that it isn't because of a delay. Rise of the Tomb Raider is currently still a timed exclusive, meaning that the Xbox One and Xbox 360 received the game first in November, and the PC will be getting it next month. If you're wondering when the game will be released on the PS4, well you better hold on for a while because Rise of the Tomb Raider for the PS4 is expected to be released sometime in the holiday season of 2016, so essentially a year after the Xbox release.
What do you think? Will you be purchasing this game once it is released for the PS4 and PC? How do you feel about timed exclusives? Leave your thoughts below.
