Battlefield Hardline released its first DLC, Criminal Activity, on June 30th, adding more variety to the game with 4 new multiplayer maps, new vehicles, a new game mode along with new weapons and customization items. Developer Visceral announced in the Season Pass outline that we would see the next one in "Summer 2015", so it seems to be time. And according to a recent tweet from lead multiplayer designer Thaddeus Sasser, it looks like EA will be officially unveiling the Robbery DLC at GamesCom in August:
"Headed to GamesCom next month to show off DLC 2, Robbery! Some great new stuff to show off, including a sweet new game mode. Any guesses?"
This indicates that we can add an entirely new game mode to the 7 currently available ones this time, and not a renamed classic. Exactly what it will be, is left to speculation until the event in August, where we also will be able to see the new guns, vehicles and gear the DLC will bring. Robbery will be number two out of four planned DLC, all included in the Season Pass. The next two, Getaway and Betrayal are scheduled to be out Fall 2015 and early 2016 respectively.
What do you think the new game mode will be? And what would you like it to be? Let us know in the comments below.
