We all here know what it's like to hear our cell phone ring and look down and see our parents calling, once we notice that the internal battle begins. "Should I answer it or let it go to voicemail?" you may ask yourself. Well, with this new creation from Standifird, you no longer have a choice.

The Android application is called Ignore No More. The purpose of this application is to have more parental control over your phone usage. Now, before you start getting ideas and thinking this will give your parent access to see your texts, pictures, and any other private info that you have stored on your phone, I will assure you that it's not in any way that sort of application. This application, with a few clicks of a button, gives your parent access to lock your smart phone and you may only call those in your ICE (In Case of Emergency) contacts.

This all started on the day Standifird became livid when her teenage children would not respond to her text messages or answer her phone calls. Once she knew that they were safe and just ignoring her, she continued to say “we need to develop an app that just shuts their phone completely down and they can’t even use it. And I started — literally just started researching how to develop an app.” After months of researching, designing, and developing the application Ignore No More finally hit the Google Play Store, and has gotten a quite a few 5-star reviews, while getting quite a few low star reviews due to bugs which are being squashed.

"This is genius! I wish someone would have come up with this about 3 years ago when I bought my son his first phone. He keeps telling me that he doesn't know his phone has rang nonstop for the last hour or that he didn't see the text messages. We tried it out tonight with his galaxy s4 and my lg g flex and it worked great! Now i guess we will see how many of those calls he really doesn't here and texts that he really doesn't know come in... thank you! !!!!"

Awesome sauce! Love love love!! Waiting on the iPhone version (one of my kids has an iPhone so can't use app for her). Any estimated ETA for iPhone app?

No more late night you tube! Three kids with three Android tablets are now on mandatory lock down at bed time! Two features I would like to see: a timer to auto lock at a certain time, an IOS version so that my wife can use it from her iPhone.

So, it's basically a Find My iPhone app for Android? Well okay then!
The only problem I have is exploits. I am certain that someone can exploit this app to lock someones phone, maybe even do more damage. It's only a matter of time before this happens. My only concern is privacy. Will there be premium features available in the future that allow them to view more info? I'm sorry, but I don't want that to happen.

So I ask you all, do you think this mother was right by doing this? Do you think this is an invasion of privacy? Do you think it's worth $1.99? Would your parents do something like this to you? What's your opinions?
